About Us
COPE Network provides resources and a supportive space for substance using and recovery communities in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We aim to provide unique programming outside of common abstinence based models of recovery support. We also aim to provide evening and weekend programming, as well as social and recreational programming to foster supportive communities and allow participants to explore new activities in a healthy and welcoming environment. Our programs are open to everyone 18+ regardless of substance use history, for free or for a low cost.
Attendance at our classes and meetings is acknowledged by the Kalamazoo Drug Courts.
COPE distributes free Naloxone (Narcan) kits and provides free trainings on overdose prevention.

COPE Network's goal is to provide Southwest Michigan with substance use and recovery resources that are rooted in harm reduction and trauma informed philosophies in an effort to equip people with the tools they need to meet their own definition of success.
COPE's long term vision also includes running a free space offering a variety of recreational, personal growth, and community building activities.
