ACCEPTS MANY INSURANCES AND MEDICAIDS

PROVIDES INDIVIDUALIZED SLIDING SCALES

Lori R Erk LPC

As a supportive partner of the COPE community, I provide trauma-informed therapy for anyone that seeks help. I have experience working in substance abuse, trauma (sexual abuse, physical abuse and domestic violence), grief and loss, depression and anxiety. I have had the privilege of working with a variety of clients in various stages of life and in major life transitions, including alternative education, adjudicated youth, men, and women transitioning from state and federal prison, as well as others that are just dealing with difficulties that happen in our day to day lives.

In addition to providing a safe place to talk, to feel supported, validated and accepted, I use a variety of activities and skills to help my clients. I like to incorporate art therapy, physical movement, relaxation techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR. My goal is always to support my client, not to lead, but to provide support.

I accept many insurances including Medicaid. I also create an individualized, cash payment for those that do not have insurance or have deductibles and/or co-pays that make mental health inaccessible.

COPE provides a non-judgmental, open, friendly, and compassionate place for people to listen, to share, to just “be.” People come to COPE from all walks of life, from different communities, and from different stages of life to get support and to provide support. Everyone that attends COPE activities are treated with dignity and respect, everyone is valued. Relationships and a supportive environment are strong tools in fighting addiction.
